About Us
We're a Queensland-based venture with one goal: to make farming work anywhere, without depending on the grid, fragile supply chains or a shrinking workforce.
Node 1 started with a simple question: what if a farm could run itself? Not a single machine trying to do everything, but a complete system where the right robot handles each job, energy is produced on site, tools are made as they're needed, and AI ties it all together.
That idea became Node 1: a self-contained, off-grid farming system built into a 40-foot container, designed to be deployed in remote regions, harsh climates and, one day, beyond Earth.
Where we are
Node 1 is in active research and development. The core technologies already exist: humanoid and task-specialist robotics, multispectral drones, off-grid solar and wind power, biogas and hydrogen production, edge computing and 3D printing. Our work is bringing them together into one integrated system that functions reliably and scales. That's the challenge we're solving, and it's what your investment drives forward.
What drives us
No one should go hungry. We want to eliminate hunger worldwide by putting food production wherever people need it, from remote communities to regions where farming has never been possible.
At the same time, we want to change how the world makes fuel. Every Node turns waste into energy and hydrogen on site, breaking the dependence on fossil fuels and centralised supply.
To do that, we start with people. We study the human-centric biome: the food, water, energy, shelter and living systems humans need not just to survive, but to thrive. Understanding that full picture shapes everything Node 1 is designed to do.
It also shapes the AI we're building. Much of today's AI is built to produce confident-sounding answers. We're building AI that understands the real world it works in: the soil, the crops, the conditions and the people depending on it. AI that observes, learns and makes decisions that genuinely help.
Feed the world. Fix how we power it. Heal the planet and humanity in the process. And once we've done that, take the next step that's always been ours to take: leaving Earth to explore the galaxy. We believe that journey is a human right, and the systems that sustain life out there start with how we sustain it here.
